The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both,
And be one traveller, long I stood,
And looked down one as far as I could,
To where it bent in the undergrowth.
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there,
Had worn them really about the same.
And both that wearing equally lay,
In leaves no step had trodden black,
Oh, I kept the first for another day,
Yet knowing how away leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh,
Somewhere ages and ages hence,
Two roads diverged in a wood,
And I took the one less travelled by,
And that has made all the difference.

嫁給爺爺輩的老楊是為了愛情嗎? 我可不覺得。她愛的是伴隨這個婚姻而來的生活方式。住在環境優美的專家樓,不需工作,不用為房貸醫療學費柴米油鹽擔心。讀讀書,彈彈琴,時不時陪著老楊參加各種場合的聚會。過著在象牙塔尖上的生活。即使老楊死了,她也有他留下的房子和養老金,不必再為生活擔憂。
人生的路怎麽走,是個人選擇。每個人都會選一條自己認為最受益的路。翁帆顯然是不喜歡大多數人那樣,找一個同齡的丈夫,生兒育女,攜手打拚,一起變老。
