There is such a post grabbing people's eye recently: 中科院院士:陳曉旭是被中醫害死的: http://web.wenxuecity.com/BBSView.php?SubID=health&MsgID=131091.
It is highly suspicious that he actually said that 陳曉旭就是被中醫害死的！If he really said that then he is no more than another 偽科學 guy himself.
1. Did anybody even know who diagnosed her the breast cancer? What was the clinical stagging of her cancer? If it was advanced stage then no treatment can save her, right?
2. After diagnosis, assuming by western doctors, what was the treatment recommendation by those guys then? Did they say that they could not do anything because it was already too late/advanced so go try something else???
3. Isn't it true that she herself decided to use TCM to treat it? If that is indeed the case then too bad she should had know better, right? If she decided to treat herself by drinking cold water then do you blame the cold water who killed her or what?
4. So the bottom line: why she decided to treat with TCM? And you guys, or this professor guy, suppose TCM can cure anything? I am sure western medicine will sure to fail to treat her advanced stage cancer in her case. Then this professor and many guys would say that it is the western medicine that killed her, right? "The jerk store called. They run our of guys like him!"
5. Many, many patients die from breast cancer everyday. If she wanted to be special, then do something special and meaningful. The celebrity patients die from breast cancer, lung cancer, etc. in western countries all donate significant amount of their wealth to help fighting those disease. Why? Because they know that there are limits and that is the only thing we can do at present time with our limited knowledge, so they try to help. Is it the same in her case?
