奇了，兩次有人稱呼我是獨角獸(UNICORN)
我們公司一個月左右就有一次安排同事和公司領導的聚餐，我們開會，和領導開會，彼此切磋未來的計劃，每個人介紹大家的背景，工作經驗等等。輪到我了，我還沒有開口介紹自己，我的經理就開始幫我介紹，他說他要找一個多麵手不容易，因為都是年輕人，經驗比較淺，也太年輕，然後這個地方又比較小，但是很缺人。很少能找到比較符合需求的人。我的上司跟一群人當麵說我說是一個UNICORN。這個就是神話動物，獨角獸。我心想他可能是誇我能幹，罕見，不好找。其實我根本沒有把自己看的那麽高。當時我還挺不好意思的。
後來有一次還有一個公司裏的老同事，有一天我問這個老年人一個工作上技術和材料的問題，他突然微笑地問我一句，你見過UNICORN嗎？這位先生在上世紀很早就開始在此工作了。他有幾十年經驗。他是一個白血病的存活者。我認為很有奇跡，我覺得是上帝給他的保護。我經常關心他問他身體好不好，有沒有複發？他六年以前得了白血病，現在好了，沒有任何後遺症。
我真的覺得很納悶，怎麽突然兩個人在同一時間內都管我叫UNICORN，而且是兩個成年美國男人。我這兩個同事提到UNICORN是在瘟疫發展嚴重之前，此二人完全精神正常。兩個非常理性從事的中老年美國白人。其中第一位是我的經理，深資技術類的建築師，他負責分配任務，管理人事。還有另外第二位老先生是一個管理建築建設專門寫SPECIFICATION的專業人士。
查了一下UNICORN在西方文化裏的寓意：：
What does it mean when someone is a unicorn?
A Unicorn is a mythical creature, someone amazing who is hard to catch or simply a very rare find. The term is often describing someone who is remarkably attractive and has a great personality.
據說是在人類出現之前有這種動物，存在化石。這個動物好像是和中國的麒麟差不多。他們是不是潛意識在暗示我是人中龍鳳啊？其實我這個人真的在工作環境裏非常低調也不愛顯唄。
龍馬也是精神健壯的形象。《禮記·禮運》：“河出馬圖”孔穎達疏引《尚書中侯·握河紀》：“伏羲氏有天下，龍馬負圖出於河。”。龍馬負圖就是龍馬背著伏羲八卦圖出現，揭開世間的秘訣。伏羲造書契，定人倫，正婚姻，其功之高，其道之大。伴隨龍馬的同時有神龜，大龜龜背上麵的紋據說就是中國漢文字的創始人的蒼頡，他的文字創作揭秘了一切的定義。因為表意文的通用性質，一直被亞洲各族運至今。
在西方的舊約聖經裏提到過UNICORN，是從錫伯文翻譯過來。有一些爭議。但是比較普遍的希伯來意思就是獨角的動物。英文很多詞匯來自拉丁文，裏麵UNI就是一個的意思。文字優美的KING JAMES 版本的聖經裏麵就出現了UNICORN這個詞匯。而在歐洲，UNICORN是吉祥物。生活當中，一般UNICORN都是小姑娘喜歡玩兒的一種動物，神話動物，很漂亮的小白馬，帶一個角，鬃毛是彩色的，很有神話色彩，很吉祥的。這個動物代表力量，角獸的角代表權利。
聖經當中暗示，天堂裏麵有很多馬。聖經的啟示錄裏麵，也有四匹馬，代表了不同的人類的災難。一般來說，馬代表戰爭，征服，而群馬當中，一個帶角的馬就代表王者。也有人說角代表王冠，也就是權柄的象征。
Numbers 23:22
God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn.
Numbers 24:8
God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows.
Deuteronomy 33:17
His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.
Job 39:9-12
Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib?
Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?
Wilt thou trust him, because his strength is great? or wilt thou leave thy labour to him?
Wilt thou believe him, that he will bring home thy seed, and gather it into thy barn?
Psalm 22:21: Save me from the lion’s mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.
Psalm 29:6: He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.
Psalm 92:10: But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.
Isaiah 34:7: And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.
聖經啟示錄裏麵，啟示錄裏麵，第六章第二節，提到一匹白馬上麵有一個皇冠，這樣的一個啟示也被看為是暗示一個UNICORN。
“And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer (Rev. 6:2).”
