oh, my God! I really wanna say" Geez, what a hack day!"
from 8am in company's parking lot, get a phone call from a HR person who I'm expecting to be interviewed with this week to do a fourth time reschedule! I had to say" could you drop me a line and let me check with my boss before get you back?" then he did, wrote 4/10, 3pm. I quickly pop my head to my boss's office to say" I just remember I had a 3pm appointment today." my boss hesitated and asked" when you have to leave then?" I say "around 2:30". He nodded" OK." after I shot that HR person an e-mail, he call me right after, say"sorry, I meant 4/17, next Monday!!!!" I was really mad, and almost shout,"what? I just checked with my boss!! Can you do a favor now to check with your boss to see the availability this afternoon, I don't care whether it's 3 or 4 or even 5." He said "sorry, we had conference calls all day long today. the earlist we could do is next Monday. I sincerely apology for that, it must be this crazy monday morning things, blah, blah, blah....
ha...what I can do now, pop my head in my boss's office again to say" sorry, it must be this crazy monday morning things, I actually had the appointment scheduled next Monday at 3pm? ..
right after I've taken care of that, got a rejection e-mail after an interview from another company's HR person. feel bad and wanna treat myself so had lunch in princeton shopping center's shanghai park, waited there 30 minutes for my 2 little friends and one mom, finally found had 3 kiddo come, had to change back to a round table which the waiter first assigned. so embarrased, and the consequence is to pay extra tips for that!
later afternoon after I got back to work, found my boss already caught by his boss for exe meeting preparation, had nothing to do, after talking to everyone about something nobody cares, went back to my computer, begin my normal internet browsing. then just thought about following up with another second-round interview in a hedge-fund company, later afternoon, get the e-mail from the director saying "
