解決工作中遇到的困難

Conversation 1:

 

Mei is sewing at her machine when the needle breaks.

 

Mei: Excuse me , Sarah .Can you help me, please?

Sarah: Sure .What ‘s the problem?

Mei: My needle just broke and I don’t know how to change it .

Sarah: No problem. Let me show you .First unscrew this screw and take out the needle.

Mei: I see.

Sarah: Now put the new needle with the flat side to the right and tighten the screw. Do you understand?

Mei: I am not sure . Can you show me again?

Sarah: Sure. Put the needle with the flat side to the right and tighten the screw.

Mei: Okay, I get it now. Thanks a lot.

Mei; Okay . And what do I write here?

Sarah: The color number for the thread .

Mei: Color number 024. And what does this mean?

Sarah:QNTY means quantity. You put how many you need.

Mei: I see. And do I sign here ?

Sarah: Right. And put the date.

Mei: Okay. I get it . Thanks , Sarah.
