Heart to Heart

When hearts could listen to each other
we could hear each other’s beats
thousand of miles apart
When hearts stop listening
We could ignore beats
even though we are right next to each other

Our emotions could be a trapped sea
waves inside our bodies
Our eyes served as the only visible outlets
as well as shores of hearts
if you are willing to accept and absorb those waves of tears

I could not imagine how two hearts could resonance with each other so well
Whether they clicked first matches later as one wished
Or most likely
whatever our prior experiences and self consciousness matched so much
that our hearts not only clicked when we first collided
But also develop and generate more to share and align
