The Extremes and In-Between

The sea is a continuous realm
full of waves and currents
that is impossible to be stopped
or easily distinguishable from one moment to the other
mysterious and surprising

Rocks or islands are more isolated
not easily changeable over time
never emotional or sensitive enough to the sea
but nice stoic companions nevertheless

Sands and beaches carry some fine granularities
rocks could not offer
They could be sensible enough to dance with waves
soft enough to be shaped by waves
