Trails of Time

There are not many footprints where we are heading
The delicate steps we took could not leave many either
because of they are mostly imprinted in our hearts
If one finds a pair or two
they might just last for a minute or two
into the cloud that just about to dissipate
Many trails we burned through regrow with something freshly wild
even just a blade of grass
a little forgetting-me-not blue
could have been cheering us from moment to another
