A Father's Day

The sky couldn't be bluer
the Father's Day couldn't be more fitted
until the 14 year old lawn mower broke
Hunting for one in stock took some driving to get to
The road is grayer on the single lane country road
it didn't help when a Prius in front still want to slide for extra mileage
probably won't mind even a turtle tries to pass
So naturally flip the Prius and curse a bit
and probably shoot the car in mind
which could not tell the kids and got no one to complain to
(try a few teardrops with the cop if you are that lucky)
The way back wasn't any different
the speed camera perhaps impose a lot of fear factors
Flipped a stretch of three cars and another to have a stretch of open road
The road is little less grayer
yet a few more grayer hair should pop by now
with no one counting on a typical Father's Day
with US Open Golf and bunch of World Cups games
airing in the air
