Upset

I am sure one day I will start dating you
in american way
The question is whether either of us
still remember our crossing in these happy years
whether we need to use the poems to remind
either or both of us our meshing soul in the past
Are those strong enough invitation though
to even initiate the conversation
Not sure
Time will tell but time doesn't know
how fragile we all are
time doesn't know how much drag
it puts on our bodies
Memory could only fade
unless words could again stir the upset
