Sound of Toys

Could hear Fluffy plays her squeaky toys again
she'd throw them up and push them against sofa with her side
bite them squeaky, step on them squeaky
every since she got here for nearly nine years
We raise her up to cheer us
but no one cheers her everyday since the kids are growing up
She still manages to cheer herself everyday
no matter how long our work days are
and how long she has been sleeping in the house during the day
She just seems happy when she could
She will check every new staff come into the house
curious as ever
and definitely does not lose a bit of sensitivity to potential food
popsicle, peanut butter, lettuce
sometimes even at the moment of our thought
she is right there before we open the refrigerator
but not when we prepare to do some cooking
She certainly develops a lot of vocabulary
in her expression and in her tone of whining
She is bilingual too understanding talking about her
wish she could speak a word or two
we will sure be thrown into ecstasy
