Worth

For what it is worth
an army sergeant's life should be
more than one line of news
How warm a human being
How colorful a life of growing up, loving and sacrificing
as known by related kids, spouse, parent and friends
Destiny might be different depending on what one believes
but the physical separation of life and death
is quite fair to all of us
If there is one cause that matters no more
it is the cause of the death to the death
Yet it always seems unfairly abrupt for the survivors
to take for what it is there we cherish  all along day in and day out
It is such a void that could not be replenish so quickly
that we all wished we could get it back in time
even freeze with them if we could have the option

We sometime just have to embrace
what is given us with no cause
