Replace a Sealed Lead Acid Battery with a Lithium-ion Battery in the Mower.
My mower has a sealed lead acid battery, which has a life of three years. When the battery is new, I could use the mower to cut grass in one charge. Now, I have to charge it twice before I could finish cutting.
Original battery is 36 V 10 A, I bought a lithium-ion battery from ebay, which is 36 V 20 A.
The old battery in the mower:

Take the old battery out, cut the positive wire out from the new battery, strip it:
Crimp it in an insulated male connector with a crimping tool:
Cut the negative wire and strip it:
Crimp it in the insulated male connector, connect two male connectors with the the circuit:
Since the new battery is much smaller than the old one, I have to put some bubble wrap (under a plastic box for Tofu) to fill the empty room:
Put the circuit cover on the mower:
It works, the motor runs.
Put the battery cover back:
It is much lighter. The original battery is 29 lbs. The new one is probably less than 5 lbs. The life of the new battery should be much longer than 3 years. When the new lithium-ion battery is installed, a new charger for the lithium-ion battery must be used, never use the lead acid battery charger to charge the lithium-ion battery!
