Austin Chutian's 81st-100th days

May 1, 2005, Sunday
Aunt Katie and Uncle RC came to see me.  They gave me beautiful flowers.  Before I was born they bought many gifts for the baby shower.    
The weather turned sunny in the afternoon.  So we decided to check out the daffodil festival in Meriden.  Dad had to drive over 50 minutes each way.  But we had good time there.

May 5, 2005, Thursday
My godparents Shan and Sherry came to see me again.

May 8, 2005, Sunday
Today is mother's day.  I went to New York City.  It's a huge place!  If, like somebody said, this is the center of the universe, I wonder how big the universe would be.  This was my first time to go out of Connecticut.  I went all way up to the top of the Empire State Building!  Dad carried me and walked many blocks along the Fifth Avenue.  We also went to St.Patrick Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, and Times Square.  Finally we went to a Malaysian restaurant in China Town.

May 10, 2005, Tuesday
After dinner time we went to visit a classic car show in a nearby place.  Those cars are very old but very cool.

May 11, 2005, Wednesday
Dad had a half day off work.  He drove us to a park called Twin Brooks.  It has nice lawn, ponds and forest.  We enjoyed it very much.

May 14, 2005, Saturday
It was a long day.  We first visited a submarine museum. Then we toured Mystic Village.  And finally we made stops at 2 great casinos in Connecticut.  But I did not gamble.  By the time we were back home it was already after midnight!

I can roll over by myself, if I want to.

May 20, 2005, Friday
I am 100 days old, wow!  Mommy is busy on preparing food.  There will be guests tomorrow.
