今天公司突然大裁員，雷奧夫了好多人，許多平時有說有笑的同事們就從此突然消失了。讓人好傷感。有一些同事和我關係很好的，他們人也很nice，突然就再也見不到了，早上坐在辦公室裏心裏感覺很淒涼。沒辦法，公司裏上班大家都知道會有這麽一天，今天也許是你，明天大概就輪到我了。有的同事在公司上班十多年了，就這麽一下子解雇了。

From what I see, those who change jobs every 5 years or so have a better understanding of what's going on in the market. They pick up new technologies from different jobs and they get paid a lot more.

 

Those who stay in one company for more than 15 years are the hardest ones to find a new job. Their "loyalty" to their companies provide them with very limited skill sets. They are considered "junior" in terms of technical skills although they have too many years of experience to accept a lower paying job.
