強迫性暴食(Compulsive Overeating)

強迫性暴食(Compulsive Overeating = Binge Eating Disorder)屬於一種心理障礙。

Experts generally agree that most people with serious binge eating problems often eat an unusually
large amount of food and feel their eating is out of control
(專家一般認為具有嚴重強迫性暴食的人常常吃異常多的食物並感到沒法控製其飲食)

People with binge eating disorder also may(具有強迫性暴食的人會有如下表現):
【1】Eat much more quickly than usual during binge episodes ;
         (在縱情大吃情節發生時比一般時候吃得快);
【2】Eat until they are uncomfortably full (吃到很不舒服的飽為止);
【3】Eat large amounts of food even when they are not really hungry
        (盡管不覺得餓,任然吃大量食物);
【4】Eat alone because they are embarrassed about the amount of food they eat
        (當吃大量食物而感到窘迫時喜歡單獨吃東西);
【5】Feel disgusted, depressed, or guilty after overeating;
(在爆飲後心理自感厭惡,沮喪或負罪感)
 
People with binge eating disorder may gain weight. Weight gain can lead to obesity, and
obesity puts people at risk for many health problems, including
(具有強迫性暴食的人會增加體重。體重的增加會導致肥胖;而肥胖會招致
許多健康問題的風險,包括:

---- type 2 diabetes (二型糖尿病)
--- high blood pressure(高血壓)
--- high blood cholesterol levels(血液中高膽固醇)
--- gallbladder disease(膽囊疾病)
--- heart disease(心髒疾病)
--- certain types of cancer.(某些癌症)

People with binge eating disorder should get help from a health professional
such as a psychiatrist,psychologist or clinical social worker
(具有強迫性暴食的人應該爭取獲得健康專業人員,如精神科專家, 診療心理學家,
意誌療法臨床社會工作的專業幫助);

There are several different ways to treat binge eating disorder(有幾種不同的方法可以治療強迫性暴食);
其中方法之一叫做:

【認知行為療法】(Cognitive-behavioral therapy):

--- Cognitive-behavioral therapy teaches people how to keep track of their eating and change their unhealthy eating habits. It teaches them how to change the way they act in tough situations. It also helps them feel better about their body shape and weight.

--- 如何記載其吃的東西和改變其不健康的飲食習慣;
--- 如何改變其較嚴重表現情形;
--- 幫助患者對其身體形態和體重不要自我感覺太壞。
