此歌創作背景介紹:
　　
　　《布列瑟農》選自馬修·連恩專輯《狼》。
　　
　　1992年 加拿大有空地方**施行了一項名為“馴鹿增量”計劃”，為達到目的，卻必須大量捕殺狼群。為此，30多位音樂工作者以2年多的時間，完成了《狼》這張專輯：它以最直接的感情，最沉痛的呼聲，敲擊著人們的心……絢麗的蘇格蘭樂風，記錄著“飛鼠溪”的悲情；“布列瑟農”抒情的吟唱著無奈的離鄉情緒；輕爵士的“歸鄉之翼”，古典管弦交織出力量與悲情……將原野上活生生的狼群帶入音樂中。
