告別Monument Valley, 即沿HWY163往北, 然後轉HWY261, 很快便並入猶他HWY95, 奔Capitol Reef國家公園而去.
這HWY95要穿過地圖上標為White Canyon的大片地區, 以極大量紅色峽穀. 本大人火線將其封為”全美風景路” (All American Road), 享受猶他HWY12同等待遇. 曾經有人稱從North Rim 到South Rim一路風景甚佳. 開過HWY95後, 那一段就不值一提了.
在一筆直的路上恰逢一雷雨剛掃過. 但見雷雨雲團就在前方. 這一路段怕有30公裏長, 且無一車. 立即將速度提到100英裏(160公裏), 幾分鍾後便趕上了雷雨. 隨即減速到70英裏, 幾分鍾後竄出雷雨下車一看, 洗得極亮!
