When Market follow up a big gain with a small loss, almost all of the commentators say that is good. After a good day, profit taking is expected. But when market follow up a big loss with a small gain, every one is relieved. How so? I wonder. From Bear\'s point of view, shouldn\'t a little bounce is expected after a big loss too?
What has changed between Today and Friday?
The only thing strikes me this morning is that there are palpalable fear at the the openning, It looks like the bottom is broken, and the stock has nowhere to go but down. Maybe that is why the buyers are attracted to step in..
Volumn was not impressive either.
tAfter the close, it seems like there are reasons to be hopeful since tech earning continues to pile up. Oil helps too. Even the dollar is bouncing back amid the talk of global recession -- meaning other countries has to cut their rates as well so dollor is not the only currency to be cheap.
If you invest by charting, there are really nothing to excite about, all charts looks ugly, maybe that tells us to be careful. The damage inflicted on Friday may take time to heal, and I am pretty sure the Bears are embolden by Friday\'s action, so, look for more short sell activities.
Anyway, it needs caution during the earning season as volatilities is high. after all, a lost opportunity is better than a lost capital
Take care
