It's that all?

What? that is all for the anxiety-filled-anticipated "correction"?  what about the re-testing of the low? what about risk repricing?   what about the massive foreclosure and then bankruptcy of the mortgage lenders? ok, at least we can forget all of those for a day.

If this correction taught investors anything, it is to adhere to "buy on the dip" theme and face the future turbalence with even more audancity.  Actually, I begin to secretly suspect there are more chinese live in USA than the sensus revealed. Because, the wall street looks more like Shanghai Stock exchange -- it is unfalliable and USA government is acting more like Chinese government in terms of interfering with the activities of economy.

ok, I actually do not care as long as my balance remains growing not shrinking, it is all good to me.

But deep in my mind, I do have a (hopefully ) health dose of respect to the market force.  I do am afraid this could be Wall Street (MM)'s trick to dis-arm our alertness like those spy woman dis-arm a victim with her charming smile.   What if there are unclaimed bodies buries somewhere in some banks?  what if the in-experienced Asia banks were actually involved in this Mortgage Backed Debt more than they realized.  well, if one trade long enough, one tends to become cynic about everything that meets the eye.

The graph does not lie.   VIX is down to almost nomal and continue to treading down, a couple of days like today in the next week,  we are all back the business as usual.

Normally, VIX in extreme readings tell the top/bottom of the market, but there is another use of the vix of  you are a short tem trader like me.   when VIX in the nomal reading, you can hold your stock is little longer to capture the further gain,  but when VIX is heading high, you should take profit as possible(or cut loss).

vix for the past 6 monthes
