Derek likes thinking

Derek is turning five in September. Like most boys, he likes dinosaur, Legos, cars and superheroes. Recently, he started to be interested in human being’s body.One day, we read a book about human body. He learned how the white cells and red cells looked like and how they worked. Later on, when he ate breakfast, he shouted:” mom, I see. I see. The strawberry will change into red cells which would let us full of energy and milk will change into white cell which can protect us away from germs. Am I right? ”. “Hmm, that is a good point” I felt the his thoughts very cute “I guess so.. ”In another day, he asked me:” Mom, why the foods we ate so yummy but the pupu is so stinky?” “It is a good question” I searched in my brain to find an answer “There might be a squeezing machine in your tommy. It squeezed all the yummy juice to your body and leave trash as pupu.”More and more I was attacked with new questions like:Mom-why our eyes are apart to each other but the things we saw were stick together?Mom-Why people’s sound are different?I am so happy to hear such questions and, in the meanwhile, it is a real challenge for me to answer such questions. Every time, when I was thinking how to explain to him, I started with “It is a good question”. Derek caught that very soon. Every time, when he heard it, he often softly signed: “You always say it!”Dear son, you never know how mom is proud of you. Every question you asked is so fantastic for me.
