A Rose from A Stranger

It would otherwise have been another sunset at the ferry terminal, breathtaking and beautiful as usual. And then a total stranger that I have never met and probably would never meet made this sunset very special. Left on a chair, was a single rose, red as the setting sun, bathed in its last golden ray. Among the merticulously wrapped green tissues and white baby breath is a note: "This rose is for whoever finds it. I hope it puts a smile on your face!"
A special sunset with a special rose from someone special, someone who has a heart filled with smiles and who does not hesitate to share true happiness with total strangers. I hope this story puts a smile on your face, as the rose did on mine :-)
