It’s not the words

Although as we try harder

Love becomes the only thing we hunger 

It’s not the sound

They are merely echoes

In the hollow chambers of Time

A state of simple being

Is what it is: aren’t we all sick of

The complexes of the New Age???

Don’t take the bloodless words seriously

If your heart runs like a restless bride

We are who we are---a simple fact no less

Miraculous than any other

We are extremely lucky that we’re different

From each other & poetry is what brings us closer
