On “Heart Broken”

 

 

Most people use their hearts

As weaponry --- bricks

Chains, clubs & bombs

They go chasing, banging

Like headless chicken blind bats

Hitting ridiculous surfaces

And shadows of the moon

 

It has been proved that

One can turn the heart

Into stone, steel & ice

Much easier than keeping

The undying senses alive

Aroused and above all

Approachable and absorbing

When the signals are messed

Up in the cold untelling air

 

We are fragile creatures

With a very thin skin

Protecting our pride & bearing

Most people smile in denial

Most people lie in order not to die

Most people claim they have a life

Drinking dynamite at night

Sucking blood in broad daylight

 

You are not one of them, Friend!

But watch out! Suckers and

Liars are grabbing the mike

On the stage up high, dressing

In neon light; their faces god-like

Turning from green to white

Their fists thrashing biblically

With money and knives

 

Your heart is no match

For such a vanity fair  

Your heart has keener ears

And it needs cleaner air

To survive fire, tears

And all that is human

So let’s find a better

Metaphor next time

(when the sky is dark

and the hours snowing)

for what’s made

Of love and blood

我也是喜歡這首詩裏精彩的語言。。。英文的一些詞似乎更雙關，更多內涵。。。翻譯的時候似乎很難保有那些詞語的“個性”。。。謝謝作舟的詩歌分享！

撞擊荒謬的虛表

人心容易變
為石，鋼與冰
卻不易保持
永久的知覺充滿活力
喚醒激情 更不易
在寒冷難辨的空氣中
當信號紊亂時
依然平易親切，引人入勝

我們是脆弱的生靈

it's not really a trick, but playing with a file's name.
If you can upload your music file, then you should be able to rename on that server. i am not sure how it's exactly done, you'd better check out with your server (the place to store your music file now )

一個人能輕易地將心
變成石頭，鋼與冰
卻不能讓尚未死去的感覺
活著，振奮，更為重要的是
能在信號於高空
寒冷未知的空氣裏迷亂時
仍可以融洽，吸收

有著極薄的皮
