You Hold Water In Your Hands In my dream I boarded the wrong plane that took me to our rendezvous en route the island made of sunlight the island I saw in your eyes when you first smiled & danced to the sound of my singing I saved all the flowers I picked in the sky and I filled your little dark room with souvenirs of my wingless flight I inhaled your fragrant shadow and all the stories written in it My pockets too small to keep all the firebrands of your kisses In the semi-darkness of the moon I drank the water you held in your palms Water, water was all I wanted in my dream, something that will make me outgrow my own little world and body and I found my island the moment you opened my eyes...
