Dear Friends,
I have been receiving emails from friends in Silicon Valley and China, asking for ways to donate money to help Sichuan Earthquake.

I would like to recommend Shelly's Cherished Dream Education Foundation (Chinese name: 真愛.夢想中國教育基金會).
Shelly went to Silicon Valley this year, and many of you saw her presentations. She is from China, a former investment banker in Hong Kong, and now together with her husband, working full-time on building dream centers in China. The first two dream centers have finished in MaErKang馬爾康. From the map you can see MaErKang is just west of the center of earthquake Wenchuan汶川. Both places belong to Aba Tibetan area 阿壩藏族自治州.

Shelly is already in Sichuan on a truck, trying to deliver the emergency goods into Wenchuan from MaErKang. From her blog, she said, besides the goods dropped by helicopter, their truck might be the first goods delivered into Wenchuan.
From latest update, foundation has raised 812,794 RMB for the earthquake, and has purchased/obtained 10,008 emergency tents, and other goods.

David, my partner, the only foreign psychologist in Shenzhen, was in talk with Shelly to provide psychology training for the teachers in Aba Tibetan area this summer.
David is in a meditation retreat in Hong Kong right now and unreachable till Sunday. I can't confirm with him right now, but David and I are very likely to do some psychology relief work for the people in earthquake area. We are not sure if we can do it right away considering our skills, and the state there. But psychological pains are for sure to come, and more likely a long term work.
