八十年代中期成立於法國葡萄酒產區波爾多的四人蓬克滾石樂隊Noir Désir是迄今為止法國最有成就和影響的滾石樂隊. 這一首單曲<<讓微風載著我們>> Le vent nous portera 出自樂隊的最後一張專緝des Visages des Figures. 著名的法國西班牙裔歌手Manu Chao應邀參與了專輯的製作. (順便提一下, 雖然ManuChao的唱片銷量在全世界範圍內多年高居榜單前幾位, 但是在美國市場卻從來少為人識, 實為這裏真正熱愛音樂人們的損失.Chao在不久前完成的塞而維亞電影導演EmirKusturica拍攝的麥姐傳記紀錄片<>裏有不少的音樂詮釋令人愛不釋手, 以後找機會再跟大家分享).
Le vent nous portera 連續兩年獲得2001/02 年度最佳滾石唱片和最佳MTV兩項獎. 歌曲緩慢憂傷貌似漫不經心卻沒有一絲頹廢.歌詞造句形式和意境極美, 配器的選擇令人倍感意外,卻非常合理. 仿佛一對外貌怎麽看怎麽不是一回事兒的夫妻卻在一起很合拍. 樂隊的主唱歌手BertrandCantat和大明星 Manu Chao 都來自深厚的藝術和學術背景. 兩人都屬於才華橫溢的創作型歌手.
BetrandCantat 曾經的女友是五度獲得法國電影最高榮譽凱撒獎提名的女演員MarieTrintignant.2003年Marie Trintignant在一次跟Bertrand激烈爭吵後死於拍片外景地立陶挽的一家旅館, 法庭判決Bertrand Cantat過失殺人罪成立, 判處監禁八年. 他於是先後輾轉在立桃宛和圖盧茲附近的監獄服刑. 2003年他 的住宅被不服判決義憤填膺的Marie影迷一把大火化為灰燼.
2007年10月Bertrand Cantat在隻服了一半刑期以後獲得假釋出獄. 法國版本的辛譜森重獲自由.

法文歌詞寫得精巧美麗, 光著傍子在台上聲嘶力竭的時髦滾石音樂人對語言有如此的尊重和造詣, 已經少見. 有隻可意會無法言傳之感.
