主題查經 – 聖約 （三）聖約要素

現在我們繼續主題查經對聖約的學習，本單元的任務是側重掌握聖約的諸要素。首先，我們看一下聖經是怎樣定義聖約的。

和合本聖經 尼希米記 9 ： 38 因 這 一 切 的 事 ， 我 們 立 確 實 的 約 ， 寫 在 冊 上 。 我 們 的 首 領 、 利 未 人 ， 和 祭 司 都 簽 了 名 。

NASB Nehemiah 9:38 [A Covenant Results] "Now because of all this We are making an agreement in writing; And on the sealed document are the names of our leaders, our Levites and our priests."

NIV Nehemiah 9:38 [The Agreement of the People] "In view of all this, we are making a binding agreement, putting it in writing, and our leaders, our Levites and our priests are affixing their seals to it."

從上麵不同版本的同一段經文，可以得知，在中文確實的約相對應的位置，英文分別是協約以及有約束力的協約。美國新版標準聖經特別說明這是一個聖約的結果。

由此我們可以得知聖經對聖約的定義就是“有約束力的協約”。當然既然叫聖約，就是神設立的。

下麵進入主題。

神為了有效地達到他的目的，以確定的格式建立起相關聖約。一些具體的聖約有可能缺少一兩個因素，典型的聖約一般具備七個要素。這七個要素分別是緒論，序言，條款，記錄，見證，獎懲，誓言。

第一個聖約要素是緒論。聖約的緒論就是認定聖約的參與各方。相關經文舉例如下。

和合本聖經 出 埃 及 記 20 1-2 “ 神 吩 咐 這 一 切 的 話 說 ： 我 是 耶 和 華 ─ 你 的 神 ， 曾 將 你 從 埃 及 地 為 奴 之 家 領 出 來 。”

NASB Exodus 20:2 “I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.”

在神通過摩西建立的聖約中，神把立約雙方明確認定，就是神為一方，以色列民為另一方。

在各種不同聖約中，神都是聖約的建立人。在大多數場合，神亦是聖約的主要執行人，承擔大部分聖約責任。聖約的另一方，盡管會隨著具體聖約的不同會在規模和受益人方麵有變化，是作為神的創造物之一的人類，或者是被神特殊揀選而後拯救的人群。有時是所有人，例如，創造之約和持守製約；有時是選擇的個人或家族，例如亞伯拉罕之約和大衛之約；有時是一個國家或人群；例如摩西之約和新約。別管包括在聖約中的人類範圍多大，神的目的是整個人類。例如，與亞伯拉罕的聖約形式上隻是一人之約，目的卻在萬民萬邦。

第二個聖約要素是序言。聖約的序言是聖約的背景鋪陳。在這部分，聖約的建立人可能會告訴當事人有關曆史牽連，文化環境，聖約相關方的曆史淵源，以及建立聖約的原因。舉例來說，申命記的第一到第三章都是序言部分。摩西在回憶了出埃及的過程以後，又重申了建立聖約的意義。

NASB Deuteronomy 4 ： 1-2 "Now, O Israel, listen to the statutes and the judgments which I am teaching you to perform, so that you may live and go in and take possession of the land which the LORD, the God of your fathers, is giving you. You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

聖約的序言一般會為建立聖約準備一個廣泛的基礎並告知為什麽有必要建立聖約。在建立聖約之前，神已經為今後聖約所要進行的工作做了充分的準備，搭建起了適合的操作平台，以便使聖約對方履行聖約規定的責任。這些前期和後台準備，聖約相關方知道得越多，對聖約的理解和執行就會越好。

第三個聖約要素是條款。聖約條款是聖約相關各方同意並要付諸執行的行動計劃。聖經中的摩西五書的主要內容就是聖約條款，從這些條款中，聖約責任及其它相關關規定都會清楚陳列。聖約條款的關鍵作用不言而喻，以至於沒有這項內容，就不會有聖約的建立。

因此，當我們讀聖經學習聖約時，關鍵一步就是正確認定哪些是聖約條款，同時這也是正確履行聖約責任的要求。如果我們對此有所缺失或誤解，將會導致誤解神的意願，從而在執行聖約中失敗。作為一個良心清醒的基督徒，對聖約條款不能允許輕忽。

另一個必須注意的因素是，絕大多數聖約條款不是經過相關各方的平等協商而確定的。這是因為，神是超然的力量，尤其在創世之約和拯救之約中。在這種神決定和操作的行動中，人是全然的受益者，因而神的統治和掌控顯而易見。在別的場合，神會在一定程度上允許相關各方進言參與決定，但是他們的意見必須符合神的意誌和聖約的根本目的，才會被融進聖約條款。

第四個聖約要素是記錄。聖約的記錄對有關聖約內容與其是聖約條款的保存和備忘以及今後執行中的依據。出埃及記 20-23 可以作為例證。通常這些記錄會被當眾宣讀，有必要的話，還會被定期複讀。以色列人保存的聖約書卷應是正式的法律文件。除此之外，聖約的相關內容可能被刻在石柱上，以便永誌不忘。

第五個聖約要素是見證。聖約的見證就是作為聖約成立的目擊者，以便在必要的時候出來證明聖約的成立確有其事，使違約方無可推諉。

第六個聖約要素是獎懲。聖約的獎懲就是神根據執行聖約的結果予以獎勵和懲處。獎勵的形式就是神的祝福。懲處的形式則是神的詛咒。聖約的獎懲集中體現在申命記第二十八章。下麵是部分相關章節。

4 "Blessed shall be the offspring of your body and the produce of your ground and the offspring of your beasts, the increase of your herd and the young of your flock.

5 "Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.

6 "Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.

7 "The LORD shall cause your enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before you; they will come out against you one way and will flee before you seven ways.

8 "The LORD will command the blessing upon you in your barns and in all that you put your hand to, and He will bless you in the land which the LORD your God gives you.

9 "The LORD will establish you as a holy people to Himself, as He swore to you, if you keep the commandments of the LORD your God and walk in His ways.

第七個聖約要素是誓言。聖約誓言是立約各方發誓遵守聖約條款，若有違約行為發生，甘願受罰。創世紀記錄了這樣的例證。

和合本聖經 創世紀 3 ： 5 你寄 居 在 這 地 ， 我 必 與 你 同 在 ， 賜 福 給 你 ， 因 為 我 要 將 這 些 地 都 賜 給 你 和 你 的 後 裔 。 我 必 堅 定 我 向 你 父 亞 伯 拉 罕 所 起 的 誓 。

NASB Genesis 26 ： 3 "Sojourn in this land and I will be with you and bless you, for to you and to your descendants I will give all these lands, and I will establish the oath which I swore to your father Abraham. "

這裏神的誓言指的是在創世記第十五章記載的神對亞伯拉罕在建立聖約過程中表示的守約旨意。
