Faith Without Deeds is Dead, One Must Have Good Deeds after Being Justified Through Faith

Righteousness through faith, is to let us connected with the source of the true goodness -- God, and it is the grace and the way given by God to rescue us from the sins and evils.

However, it has been changed by some Christians into what they rely on to live in sins. They even set the truth of righteousness through faith against the good deeds and doing what is good. Whenever talking about to be holy, they will bring up with a charge of righteousness through deeds and being against the fundamental doctrine. They also have the saying of “Once Saved, Always Saved”, which is not in the Bible and are contradictory to many verses in the Bible. They assume that the rebirth is completely equal to entering the eternal life, and let many Christians who belong to the sinful nature be the infants who never grow up, hesitate to move forward, even go to the destruction. They mislead others and bring harm to themselves, holding the placebo all the way to be buried together with the devil.

I have been called as a watchman to shout loudly to the believers: they must not be the infants who never grow up and still live in the sinful nature; they should live in accordance with the Holy Spirit, grow up spiritually, keep away from sins and be holy, and be one in Jesus Christ; that is the will that God predestined to us and the guarantee of entering the eternal life.

1. Will the Christians be judged? Yes.

“For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; ” (1Pe 4:17)

2. After the rebirth, is it possible that one will not enter the eternal life? Yes! The rebirth does not completely equal to entering the eternal life.

“If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.” (Heb 10:26-27)

“It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace. Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God. But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned. ” (Heb 6:4-8)

“If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. ” (2Pe 2:20-21)

3. The judgment is based on the deeds to distinguish the righteous and the evildoers. He who does what is right is righteous.

“Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. ” (1Jo 3:7)

“Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.' ” (Mat 25:34-36)

“"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'” (Mat 25:40)

“"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.' ” (Mat 25:41-43)

“"He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.' ” (Mat 25:45)

“"Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life." ” (Mat 25:46)

“"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'” (Mat 7:21-23)

4. Through faith, we must have good deeds even more, and must not live in sins any longer. We are slaves to the one whom we obey. Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. The sinful mind is hostile to God, and is dead. Faith without deeds is dead.

“Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law. ” (Rom 3:31)

“What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? ” (Rom 6:1-2)

“What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means! Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey--whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? ” (Rom 6:15-16)

“The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; the sinful mind is hostile to God.” (Rom 8:6-7)

“Surely you heard of him and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; ” (Eph 4:21-22)

“For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person--such a man is an idolater--has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. ” (Eph 5:5)

“For, as I have often told you before and now say again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is on earthly things. ” (Php 3:18-19)

“don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.” (Jam 4:4)

“As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead. ” (Jam 2:26)

“They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity--for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him.” (2Pe 2:19)

5. Listening to the word and believing the word is for the purpose of doing the word. Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

“You foolish man, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless ? ” (Jam 2:20)

“Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” (Jam 1:22)

“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. ” (Jam 1:27)

“What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? ” (Jam 2:14)

“Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? ” (Jam 2:15-16)

“In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. ” (Jam 2:17)

“But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do. ” (Jam 2:18)

“Was not our ancestor Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. And the scripture was fulfilled that says, "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness," and he was called God's friend. You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone. In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction? ” (Jam 2:21-25)

“As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead. ” (Jam 2:26)

6. We should live in accordance with the Holy Spirit, have good deeds and do what is good and righteous, be away from the sins and be holy, follow the example of Jesus Christ, be salt and light among the people, and live as children of light.

“But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. ” (K.J.V.) (1Co 9:27)

“Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. ” (Php 3:12)

“Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, ” (1Pe 2:1-2)

“Since you call on a Father who judges each man's work impartially, live your lives as strangers here in reverent fear. ” (1Pe 1:17)

“As a result, he does not live the rest of his earthly life for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God. ” (1Pe 4:2)

“if you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel. ” (Col 1:23)

“See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness. We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly till the end the confidence we had at first. ” (Heb 3:12-14)

“For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. Therefore, he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit. ” (1Th 4:7-8)

“Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.” (Heb 12:14-15)

“Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did. ” (1Jo 2:6)

“This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother.” (1Jo 3:10)

“Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God. ” (3Jo 1:11)

“As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy." ” (1Pe 1:14-16)

“God's solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: "The Lord knows those who are his," and, "Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness." ” (2Ti 2:19)

“If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.” (2Ti 2:21)

“For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) ” (Eph 5:8-9)

“In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” (Mat 5:16)

“make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. ” (2Pe 1:5-7)

“I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your deeds complete in the sight of my God. Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; obey it, and repent. ” (Rev 3:1-3)

“For many are called, but few are chosen. ” (K.J.V.) (Mat 22:14)
