The Faith and Determination to Inherit the Grace

These messages remind the Christians to trust in LORD, live in accordance with the Holy Spirit, do what is good and right and lead others to LORD through faith, make every effort to be holy and be one in Jesus Christ; and point out that those who will inherit the eternal life are those who have the true faith.

However, asking people to continue to confess sins and repent, deny oneself and take up the cross to follow LORD, encounters severe objections from someone. The infants who drink milk refuse the solid food, and refuse to grow up, deny oneself and carry the cross. When they are informed about the serious result, they even cry out: The grace is forsaken! The salvation through faith is cast away!

The spiritual deficient people, where is your faith? You even do not have the determination to inherit the grace, how could you talk about the grace?

God give you the new life of rebirth. It is to let you take off the disobedient, selfish and proud old self of the old Adam , and let the obedient, self-denying, and humble new life of Jesus Christ be in charge in you. Does your old self turn over the authority? Where does your faith show? Doesn’t it show when you trust in LORD, do what is good and righteous through faith, lead others to LORD, and give all the thanks, praises and glories to God?

You talk about the grace of God, but do you have the determination to inherit the grace? God ask you to do the will of God, and obey the words of LORD. Do you have the determination to do the will of God, and obey the words of LORD?

“Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. ” (Mat 16:24)

As to those who are not willing to take up their own cross, LORD will not have such people as the disciples. As to those who do not want to carry the cross to be the disciple of LORD, yet still want to inherit the possessions, such people will not enter God’s rest.

The authentic truths do not all make people comfortable. People are good at serving themselves, and they tend to mistake themselves as the little God. They only want to talk about the love of God, but deliberately ignore the absolute righteousness and complete holiness of God. They are only willing to talk about the salvation of God, but they often can not understand why it must be the painful and humiliating cross, and can not understand why Almighty God must let the Son whom He loves to suffer the pain and humiliation of the cross to accomplish the salvation.

What are left in the Bible are only the two chapters in Rome and Galatians. The teachings of LORD Jesus Christ are only the few verses in John, and all the others are thrown away and can not be mentioned. The grace is to me; the left teachings are to others -- are to certain people under certain situation. The analysis and explanation of the scripture is changed to: those exhortations, rebukes and words about keeping watch and being prepared, are added with all kind of restrictions and particular reference, and refer in particular to some people. As to being saved through faith, it is extended to “Once Saved, Always Saved”. Everyone becomes more and more happy to hear it, who will oppose such principles that are self-centered?

The only thing they can not change is that LORD’s words are still there:

“and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. ” (Mat 10:38)
