父子合同

前幾天兒子學校開始了一年一度的給food bank募捐，這些募捐來的食品是給窮人家的。為培養孩子的同情心又不讓家庭有困難的家長為難，學校是不要求每個孩子捐多少，但班級之間有比賽，看那個班募捐得多一些。對這個老爸老媽一向是支持的。但讓孩子自己從自己的口袋裏掏錢和找父母要錢，對孩子的影響還是不一樣的。往年都是孩子自己從自己掙的“獎金”裏拿出來一兩塊錢，其餘的大部分是老爸老媽出。今年老爸提出不同的做法：兒子出多少，老爸老媽就match。兒子數著自己的錢，權衡一下，自己十塊，老爸老媽再掏十塊。

看著自己的錢流出去，總是會心痛的。兒子向老爸老媽提出零花錢的問題，說班上有同學這次捐獻的錢就是自己的allowance。想想人家也十一歲了，到了討論零花錢的年齡。尤其是兒子這些年從老爸這裏“掙”了不少獎金，有自己的銀行戶頭，也知道存錢上大學的理念。所以，老爸老媽對兒子的Allowance的提議沒有反對。但錢還是要“掙”，沒有“白給”的道理。所以，經過談判，和兒子達成協議，以簽夥同的方式來解決allowance的問題。

為了不讓兒子覺得任務太繁重，這裏的許多條款是兒子在作的，或有針對性質的。這個條款就是希望能讓兒子更認真完成他在作的一些任務。也聽取了網上網友的一些意見，如以“獎勵為主”，“責任要明確”等等。經美國同事過目。反映不錯。

（三個美國同事的反映：1st:20 dollars per month? I used to get half dollars per week. When I asked my mom to give a raise, I got a quarter reduction! 2nd: I remember I got allowance when I was 10. However, a couple of years later when I was strong enough, my parents simply asked me to earn by myself. 3rd (從南韓來的第二代移民）:I never get any allowance in my whole life! Not fair！其他過目的同事都大笑說是good idea。)

CONTRACT FOR ALLOWANCE

To receive allowance (20 dollars/month), as a big boy, XXXX(兒子的名字） has to take some responsibilities at home. This is a contract between XXXX and dad/mom for everyday duties at home and at school. Any unfinished duties will result in allowance deduction (25 cents per violation unless it is specifically indicated below.).

1. Wake up on time and do bedding every morning, and keep room neatly. 

(No coins litter around the room, and all toys should be organized nicely.)

2. Throw trash every evening, and put a new trash bag into the garbage can.

3. Keep toilet clean after using it. Wash hands after using bathroom.

4. Put shower towels in order after showering. 

5. Finish all homework from school, and assignments from dad everyday. 

6. Music practice should be done nicely according to teacher’s instruction. Comments from teacher that XXXX does not follow instruction will result in 1 dollar deduction.

7. Must pass all taekwondo tests according to the master’s schedule.

8. Keep grades at A and B levels each quarter, at least half of the grades should be As. (Any A at the end of semester will get 5 dollars award.)
