小天使(232)-第一封情書，Help to Kiss

兒子的第一封“情書”

昨晚和兒子上完鋼琴課，回到家，媽媽正在檢查兒子的書包。看到兒子進門，媽媽說：“小毛，你有一封信”。

兒子頭都沒抬，回答：“I know. It's from Grace。”

爸爸插上一句：“Grace? Then, it is a love letter！”

“No. It's just an elephant. She made in the class and gave to me.”

媽媽接著說：“媽媽沒打開。你自己拆開看吧。”

兒子試了一下，求媽媽：“Mommy, please open for me. I don't want to break the sticker.”

媽媽打開了，還真是一頭剪出來的紙象呢。不過，上麵有幾行字，媽媽念出來：

“You lissn (listen?)
good XXXX(兒子的英文名）
I love you
get some way to go”

“Are you going to tell me that it's not a love letter? She said ‘I love you’.”

媽媽爸爸一起起哄，兒子不好意思，隻好逃到另一房間了。

My son's first girlfriend

Background:

My son used to have a "girlfriend", a neighbor's daughter. The 2 had claimed they were boyfriend/girlfriend to each other for a long time until last sunday when I took them home from chinese school. When I teased them, the girl said that they were not boyfriend/girlfriend because boyfriend/girlfriend are special. My son agreed that they were just friends.

This morning, on breakfast table, my son announced that he had a girlfriend in school.

Mom: "Who is this girl?"

Son: "Anna."

Dad: "How do you know she is your girlfriend?"

Son: "She chases me all the time."

I did not get it, mistakenly thought "She kisses me all the time".

"What? kiss you all the tiime?" I asked.

Daughter: "Hahaha...."

Son: "No. Kissing is not allowed. She follows me all the time."

Dad:" I see. Why is kissing not allowed?"

Son:" Because it passes germ and diseases."

Dad:" That's true. So treat the girl nicely. No kiss is ok. You can help her if she needs, right?"

Son: "Of course."
