Wake up on a Sunday Morning

To wake up on a sunny morning, to receive a phone call from a family member talking unimportant things, to make a cup of coffee for myself, to take a hot shower, to do two loads of laundry, to sit down in front of the computer, to read some gossip news, to google for the 1001th time on somebody I never met and will never meet, to desire something I'll never have, to miss the people I love, to postpone my duties again and again, I woke up to another inconsequential day in my life. Yet I yearn for something extraordinary to happen. But I know the only things that are going to happen are probably watering my plants on the deck and doing shopping at Wal-Mart.
