The pursuit of happiness

Something must be wrong. These days the only thing that can make me happy is talking to my son after he comes back from school. His achievement, such as a good test score, the first chair in the band, the success in the quiz bowl tryout, no matter how trivial it is, can make me happy. How about my pursuit of happiness of my own?!
