紀堯姆 · 德 · 馬肖（ 法語 ： Guillaume de Machaut ，約 1300 年－ 1377 年 4 月 ），法國 中世紀 作曲家 、 詩人 。曾任職於多位貴族的宮廷。他是中世紀的文化名人之一， “ 新藝術 ” （ Ars Nova ）的主要實踐者之一，被譽為 “ 最後一位同時又是作曲家的偉大詩人 ” 。馬肖是 中世紀 最偉大的作曲家之一，他的音樂創作主要是世俗音樂，他的 複調 歌曲有相當重要的曆史地位。他的《聖母彌撒曲》也是 彌撒曲 中的重要作品。馬肖創作了大量 400 首中世紀體裁的詩歌，繼承了 遊吟詩人 等中世紀文學的傳統，他的作品中《真實的故事》（ Le Voir Dit ）尤為著名。

Guillaume de Machaut 的職業生涯在那個時期應該算是很豐富， 雖然是教堂的神職人員，但他也活躍在世俗世界， 他在整個歐洲擁有很多貴族顧客， 為他們作曲寫詩。

值得一提的是： Guillaume de Machautt 是神職人員，牧師，可在他譜寫的歌曲中很大一部分都是以歌頌未果愛情 為主題的，原來是在他的晚年時，命運的安排讓 他不可救藥地愛上了一位貴族年輕女孩 Peronne , 他把他所有對這位年輕貴族的愛都譜寫在音樂裏，傾訴在他寫的詩歌字裏行間， 比如，《真實的故事》（ Le Voir Dit ）， Douce Dame Jolie 美麗溫柔的婦人。在Douce Dame Jolie 美麗溫柔的婦人這首歌裏，作者寫下了他對一位匿名女孩的愛戀傾心； 在Le Voir Dit ， 作者也記下了一位年邁詩人（他自己）和他所愛的貴族女孩Peronne d'Armentieres 的關係。

大事記：1323年加入Service of Jean de Luxembourg, King of Bohenmia; 1327年去Lithuania 旅行；1340年為Reims 大教堂工作；1363年也就是他63歲時作曲Mess de Notre Dame ， 同期創作下一係列音樂，詩，信，其中包括《真實的故事》（ Le Voir Dit ），
