otherwise the earth would be a true paradise.... lol
but people who can experience spirituality in this short life are the lucky ones because animals do not know how to do that.....

Perception awareness is the "knowning" sensed by 5 senses.
Cognitive awareness is the "knowning" processed in the brain.
You are very much right when saying, "when we try to project our own taught or learned "knowledge," we are still crawling in someone's used light....
as far as i can understand, the highest level---an awakened bliss---is to let our own "mind" go, because we simple cannot "get it" :))"

古人比現代人簡單多了，簡單常常具有穿透力，我想他們比我們更被“光”照亮著，呼吸著更清新的“空氣”，而我們現在卻在夜裏在黑暗中尋找著生命的感覺和"覺"，作舟的詩"Walking the Heart Road"裏讓人感受到詩人已有很多的“覺”。。。而為了更加不迷惑“It’s getting dark now/Let’s hit the road!“。。。
SO only "照之覺" is enlightenment.
"觸之覺" are feelings, physical responses, mostly biological based.
"悟之覺" are thoughts, intuitions, poetry, etc.:)
"Love" in different levels are different kinds of love. :)
