唐詩漢英雙語歌曲《錦瑟》（原創）

唐代大詩人李商隱的一些佳作一直以來深深地打動了我, 最近突發其想首次嚐試即興作曲，便首選了他的這首《錦瑟》。同時, 我又想將此詩譯成英文來唱, 英譯上也非常感謝沅湘老師的指導。另外, 我還自學了鋼琴伴奏。現在鼓起勇氣來發表自己的拙作, 望大家多多包涵與鼓勵!

 錦瑟  

李商隱

錦瑟無端五十弦，一弦一柱思華年。

莊生曉夢迷蝴蝶，望帝春心托杜鵑。

滄海月明珠有淚，藍田日暖玉生煙。

此情可待成追憶，隻是當時已惘然。

 

The Zither  

Why is there a zither with fifty strings?

Each string reminds me of our golden years.

Like Zhuangzi’s butterfly-enraptured dreams at morn,

Wangdi’s love voiced through the cuckoo crying;

Or pearls shedding tears under the moonlit sea,

And jade-smoke rising from beneath Lantian in the sun.

Such feelings maybe kept only in my memories,

Yet they just went in vain at the time being.
