米開朗基羅所作聖母憐子圖，我們很有幸在梵蒂岡聖彼得大殿看到原塑，而當我回到家中，在附近的聖心堂發現了這尊一比一的塑像。我可以在那裏靜靜地坐很久，說說心裏話，上前拉拉聖母的衣褶，親親主的聖傷。

Ode to the Sculptor Michelangelo
by my daughter 雪兒(十二歲時所作）

Out of the rough white stone
Working tirelessly throught the night alone
He chisels and grinds
To the vision that is only in his mind
A master from long ago
He is the sculptor Michelangelo

Moses, seated, holding the Ten Commmandments in his muscular right hand
A mighty figure sitting tall and grand
Sternly look to the side
With his flowing beard like tangeled vines
Sandaled right leg and foot exposed
Carved by the sculptor Michelangelo

David, muscular, youthful, standing gallant and great
Sling slung over his left shoulder, his right leg supporting his full weight
Furrowed brow, eyes focused and ready for battle, looking into the distance
Capturing youthful human beauty in its timeless existence
His is not stone, but a figure with a spirit and soul of his own
Brought to life by the hand of the sculptor Michelangelo

The Pieta, with the youthful Mary's expression so sorrowful yet serene
The lifeless body of Christ cradled in her arms between
The drapery of Mary's dress flowing down in thick folds and creases
Carved when he was twenty-three, his master piece among master pieces
The sacrifice and suffering, the anguish and agony, we will never know
To create such beauty, God gave the world the sculptor Michelangelo

秋天時，與媽媽和雪兒上山，林間小路上有象征主受難的十字苦路，Stations of the Cross, 一共十四站，也有的是加上一個耶穌複活的第十五站。今天我們會再回到那裏拜十字苦路，我想那裏會有很多朝聖的人。每個教堂裏都有苦路，孩子的爺爺也為附近一個天主教堂畫過一套，還沒有去拜訪過。爺爺家來自英國是新教，奶奶家來自意大利是天主教，一家人就這樣和平共處，可以不同意觀點，但是尊重你的家庭背景和選擇，保持自己的價值觀。不為改變別人，隻要活出最好的自我。


第一站：耶穌受審，山園祈禱


第二站: 耶穌背十字架


第三站：耶穌第一次跌倒


第四站：聖母往見聖子


第五站：軍人強迫聖西蒙幫主背十字架


第六站：耶京婦女給主一塊布擦汗，祂的聖容印在了布上


第七站：耶穌第二次跌倒


第八站：主對婦女說：不要為我哭泣


第九站:耶穌第三次跌倒


第十站：他們瓜分了祂的衣物


第十一站：主被釘上十字架


第十二站：聖母和婦女及聖約翰（若望) 站在十字架下，主說, “女人，看你的兒子！”對若翰說：“看，你的母親！”聖母無痛生下聖嬰，此刻她的心在滴血，誕生了千千萬萬的兒女。可以說，教會誕生在十字聖架之下，也可以說，教會生日在五旬節，Pentecost的聖靈降臨在每個人心裏，燃起那愛的火焰。

第十四站：安葬墓中


雨後的聖母山洞滴著露珠，想起很多人去法國路德朝聖

現在我正在看電視上，聖彼得大殿十字聖架朝拜儀式，人們恭敬地走上前，親吻十字架，想起一首兒歌，最甜蜜的木架，最甜蜜的釘，sweetest wood and sweetest iron, sweetest weight hung on thee...最終那苦難也變甘甜。
