[矯音隨筆] 語音語調模仿的“過正矯枉”—
矯音的過程，我一直深信並遵循“過正矯枉”的原則。
一根彎曲的鋼條，如果把它搬直後放手，它會迅速回到彎曲的狀態。如果想要把它永久的校直，需要向相反的方向過度彎曲。這種道理同樣適用於矯正英語口音。“李陽瘋狂英語”有一個“三最”原則：最清晰，最大聲，最快速。這種不同於平時講話的，誇張的“清晰，大聲，快速”的方法，無疑就是“過正矯枉”。矯音練習要取得比較好的效果，需要一定程度的“過正矯枉”。
眾所周知，中文和英語發音方式，最主要的區別在於發聲的部位。中文發音比較靠前，偏向於口腔發音，口型變化較小；英語發音比較靠後，偏向於喉部發聲，口型變化比較大。 美國黑人講英語特點比較明顯：口型變化比較大，口腔後部發聲的現象比較明顯。而且演講的時候，麵對很多觀眾，講話的方式類似於“喊話”，這種特點就更加明顯。因此模仿練習黑人演講，可能是一個比較有效的用於矯正“中式發音”的方法。
模仿的過程中，可以盡可能地“取其精華，去其糟粕”。由於黑人講英語時，有些獨特發音，一些單詞偏向英式發音，例如單詞中部分r不發音等，因此模仿中可以忽略，盡量按標準美音處理。
在馬丁路德金的演講中，大量使用了單詞Negro。按目前的標準，Negro是一個貶義詞。 搜索網絡，可以發現有一些資料中，用colored American替代演講中的單詞Negro。但是，如果把這個詞看作馬丁路德金的演講的一部分，應該不會涉及種族歧視的問題。而且在2010年美國人口普查表中，又使用了negro一詞。
本人水平有限，並不能模仿地惟妙惟肖, 但通過一段時間的練習，感覺還不錯。雖然這種發聲方法和語調並不能直接用於平時的英語交流，但是我還是感覺到了其間接的影響。
因為這個演講比較長，大概16分鍾，我會陸續把錄音分段貼出來，每段3分鍾左右。希望得到大家的批評指正。我知道，其中問題可能會很多，因為我的發音還有很多問題沒有解決，而且很多時候發音、語調、發聲部位顧此失彼。但是我更希望能發現新問題，作為下一步繼續努力的目標。

I HAVE A DREAM--PART 1
I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the
greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.
Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand
today, signed the Emancipation Proclamation. This momentous decree came as a
great beacon light of hope to millions of Negro slaves who had been seared in
the flames of withering injustice. It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long
night of their captivity.
But one hundred years later, the Negro still is not free. One hundred years
later, the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of
segregation and the chains of discrimination. One hundred years later, the
Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of
material prosperity. One hundred years later, the Negro is still languishing in
the corners of American society and finds himself an exile in his own land. So
we have come here today to dramatize a shameful condition.
In a sense we have come to our nation's capital to cash a check. When the
architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and
the Declaration of Independence, they were signing a promissory note to which
every American was to fall heir. This note was a promise that all men, yes,
black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the unalienable rights of
life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note
insofar as her citizens of color are concerned.
Instead of honoring this sacred obligation, America has given the Negro
people a bad check, a check which has come back marked "insufficient
funds." But we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. We
refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of
opportunity of this nation. So we have come to cash this check — a check that
will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.
