Eliud Kipchoge of Kenya won the 2022 Berlin Marathon on September 25 in 2:01:09. The time was 30 seconds faster than his previous world record of 2:01:39, set in 2018. Kipchoge’s victory was his fourth in Berlin and 17th overall in a career of 19 marathon starts.
