請教，聽寫 和 默寫 英文表達，謝謝

用 Google Translate 得到的都是 Dictation，但查詞典（http://dictionary.cambridge.org）Dictation隻是聽寫，沒能表達默寫的意思：

 

› [U] the activity of dictating something for someone else to write down:

I'll ask my assistant to take dictation (= write down what I say).
 

› [C] a test in which a piece of writing is dictated to students learning a foreign language, to test their ability to hear and write the language correctly:

Our French dictation lasted half an hour.

放狗搜出一個短語 write from memory, 意思是對的，但總覺得不是很舒服，有其他表達嗎？有沒有對應的單詞？
