There are 5 basic screening tests which all women need to consider with their doctor:

1. Breast screening with a mammogram for breast cancer；

2. PAP smear to look for cervical cancer；

3. A bone density test；

4. Screening cholesterol profile and thyroid panel；

5. A screen for colon cancer.

(1) Colonoscopy every 10 years; or
(2) Flexible sigmoidoscopy every five years plus FOBT/FIT every three years; or
(3) FOBT/FIT every year.(FOBT = Fecal Occult Blood Test ;FIT = Fecal Immunochemical Test)
