I made an offer for an old house built in 1920. The basement was built with brick and looks ok to me. There are miner cracks in the hallway though. One bed room was painted with heavy textured paint, while other rooms look fine.
Is a regular home inspector good enough to detect any struction issue? Or I should get a structural inspector to find out the root cause of the cracks?
Thank you very much for your input.
Any help will be appreciated.
