government always screw up... why?
in social policies, Milton Friedman - 'nobody spends other people's money as carefully as he spends his own'... that's why government spending is always wasteful and inefficient. private sectors usually provide better product/service for less.
so in terms of personal security, 'nobody cares about other people's life as much as he cares about his own'... I'd say it's hard to argue against such statement.
I would never trust my life to a bunch of bureaucrats... if you do, good luck.
on the other hand, if I had a choice, I'd rather spend my tax money on some private security firm.
