求助！About gas and electrical meter

長期在這裏潛水，熟悉這裏許多朋友，現在有一事相求。
We're interested in a short sale house. Gas and electrical meters were removed. Our agent said a lot of work needed to install them.
Anyone here has experience or clue of this?
