we are here to provide basic housing to low income people, so we all somewhat benefit from the welfare system.
you and I, are in a much small scale, use our own money, sweat our own body, try to make a living, but stil, we are taking in sec8, or some other form of government subsidized voucher...
while the big guys are dominated the tax credit field, yes they make hundreds or thousands time more than we do, but they dominated the field, because they can, for example, the project youxi mention, 55mil, the equity firm must either raise the money on their own, or thru issuing bonds, then they can make the money back over time.
we are small fish, even if there is a similar project got thru in front of my face, we can't handle it, just for a very simple reason, we don't have the money upfront.
