The majority of Asians hold the same core values of the traditional conservatives, hard working, family first, less tax, smaller government, etc. Christian? Even 30% of Chinese American and 70-80% Koreans are Christian. However, the republican party are hijacked by the far right at the moment. Immigration? Asians do not have a large population of illegal immigrants. If the main stream of Republican party do not distance themselves from the “far right”, I do not see how minorities vote for Republican (even if some of them are truly conservatives). Tea partiers consider themselves "conservatives". While, being a conservative myself, I am really scared of these so called "condervatives".
