Me , too. I'm in California.

If the proposal said only raised sales tax from 7.25% to 7.5%, it cannot get passed, because everybody think it will raise tax on me. But this proposal combine sales tax raise and income tax raise for rich, most people are happy that rich pay more tax. It passed. But so few rich people qualify the $0.5 million limit, actually 90% of tax raise will come from the sales tax raise, only 10% will come from rich people.
