I have been working on one job for about 2 years until Sep 2012. I applied for another job in the same organization immediately after Sep 2012, and got the offer without stating the starting date due to the processing complexity. It has been 2 months, the processing hasn't finished yet. So technically, I had not been working for 2 months, and have no pay checks for these 2 months. I assumed this should not be a problem because all I need is to finish the process and get a confirm of the new starting date.
I had been looking to purchase a house for 6 months while I was still on the job. During these 2 months waiting peirod, I had more time to look and finally found the house and signed the contract last Friday. I was really happy.
Today is Monday, the loan person called and told me that my not working right now is a big issue even though I showed him all the offer letters, and finger printing appointment for the new job, and eamils with the new job HR person. The loan person just does not accept this. He said I have to be at job at the moment, no matter what.
It seems I will lose this house (my first primary residence) becasue of I am in between of changing jobs. I feel sad about this b/c I really like this one and it is hard for me to find another one like this in this market.
XDJMs, do you know any loan agent could accept my situation and give me the loan? I can switch to them if there is one. It would be great if I can hear from some one on this today. My realtor is freaked out and will call the listing agent to quit on me.
