Amazing Recreation Area less than an hour west of Indianapolis, and half an hour east of the Illinois state line. Rockville is home to the famed Parke County Covered Bridge Festival, Raccoon Lake, Cecil M. Harden Lake, Turkey Run State Park, four Maple Syrup Camps, three Golf Courses, four Canoe and Boat Rental locations, twelve Campgrounds, four Bicycle Routes and assorted other Festivals throughout the year attracting TENS OF THOUSANDS of tourists to Billie Creek Village and surrounding attractions.

Offered for silent bid auction is the entire Billie Creek Village, including approximately 70 acres of land, two covered bridges, all Civil War Era historic buildings of the living history museum, modern party pavilion, all primitive antique equipment & furnishings and General Store inventory. The real estate and personal property are being offered “as is, where is” with all faults. Details of real estate and personal property listing are available under the "Documents" tab above.

Sealed bids will be accepted from September 10, 2012, 8 AM until September 20, 2012 at Noon, Eastern Time. No late bids will be accepted. The top three bidders will be invited to participate in a Conference Call Live Auction on Friday, September 21st at Noon, Eastern Time.

All bids must be submitted on the Contract to Purchase form accompanied by a Cashier's Check payable to Key Auctioneers for $50,000 (form available under the “Documents” tab on the Key Auctioneers’ website.) Submissions will be accepted by delivery to our office at 5520 S. Harding Street, Indianapolis, IN 46217 (we recommend Certified Mail to the attention of Veronica Hughes), fax [phone]), or email ([e-mail].) An amendment to the Contract to Purchase will be prepared and executed by the successful bidder upon conclusion of the Conference Call Live Auction. The successful purchaser will be required to immediately initiate a wire transfer to bring the deposit to 10% of the bid price. The closing must take place within thirty days of the auction, not subject to any contingencies. Bid deposits will be returned to unsuccessful bidders within 48 hours of the auction.
